ON A PERSONAL NOTE
“It’s tough out in the world, and tough within ourselves. The way I choose to help with that from my corner of the world is by teaching people how to talk about those challenges constructively at work, where they spend the most time each week.”
During her downtime, Melissa loves to travel, salsa dance, hike with her husband and their rescue dogs, Lola and Nala, make tortillas from scratch, and play Bananagrams.
Fun fact: back in the day, she tried out for American Idol and The Voice. And, if you ask her nicely…she might even show you her famous Chewbacca impression.
